I didn't care for the remake of Clash of the Titans, but I was really put off when Bubo got 'canned' because Sam Worthington didn't want anything to do with it.
It was disappointing. I was hoping for maybe a slight reinterpretation, but that he would still have a role.
I think it might have been a few years earlier, that a few people were making affordable unlicensed replicas of Bubo and a bunch of lawsuits were threatened and they disappeared overnight. The new movies would have been a great chance to bring them back.
Well done. Can’t wait to revisit all of these. The preview of what’s in store this summer was impressive (took my daughter to see Besson’s Dracula yesterday) and invoked great anticipation
skeleton fight frightened me as a kid! jason and the argonauts!

Ulysses (1954) starring Kirk Douglas & Anthony Quinn and produced by Carlo Ponti and Dino DiLaurentiis is also well worth a watch.
The Golden Voyage of Sinbad could fit on this list. Wonderful movie.
